500 horse what mods do you have?

what mods do you guys have who are running with 500-550hp in the truck.

What was the best mod that you did?

i want to see where i need to be and what i need to buy in order to do this?

im thinking springs maybe studs, opies pump, floor it stage 3, and my smarty turned up. do you think i will need a turbo or will things get to toasty with the he351? thanks

The stock turbo on an 06 will supply 500 and it may be hott but maybe managable depending on how you drive.

You dont need all that fuel but can use it to move way past 500. 50hp injectors while stacked with a smarty and all basic mods should put you very close...

I had my 351 maxed out at about 50 psi and did 522 without the stix. You can see my other mods in my sig. If i want to i can take this thing to 1800 degress pretty fast. Now after the stix i need more turbo(Going s364 over an s480) And twin cp3s. I can drain the rail to about 7000 psi in a heart beat. Its funny you do one thing then you have to do 2 more things to keep up with what the first thing needs. IT NEVER STOPS!

Whats in my sig has me undeniably close to 500 if not over that. The turbo was the best thing I did especially considering I had the itty bitty 341. If you want closer to 600 I would aim you towards a 64/71-13ss or a Silver Bullet.

I did 494 horse with what is listed in my signature. Now I have added an airdog 150 and am confident I could hit 500. My egt's on the dyno according to the data logging on the commander were 1580. The right tune can dang near get you to 500 horse it seems.

With my mods, it spools slower than stock, but not much, when I get to about 2100rpm it will take off like a rocket. I tow a 28ft Travel trailer among other heavier loads and it has performed nicely. My turbo is set to a bout 45psi but is set at 42psi from the factory. I'm on stock valvetrain and studs.

What really sets it off for me is the way it changes the tone of the truck, the dual whistles it makes (in cab and out the stacks the whistle is very noticeable), and the better egts, I get better egts running beta 4.3 than my stock turbo did on the 2.11 Smarty software.

I hit the numbers in my sig 492/925 with the goodies in my sig only. Smarty running REVO (not TNT) on 9. MP8 was about 1/3 -1/2 way up.

That is a 04.5 though, so the 03 might not see the same results. Like stovetop, I am fixing to put in my AD150 and am pretty confident when the lift pump can keep up, I am at 500. Even without the TNT tune, I am pulling the FP guage right to 0 on a hard acceleration

If you have the money I would get the output for peace of mind. I did not have enough cash to get the output when I ordered my tranny, otherwise I would have. But, from speaking with goerends numerous times, they were confident that the setup would hold 500-550 hp. I will probably leave my output shaft until it brakes and then throw in a billet shaft. Not having to drop the entire tranny makes changing that output not too bad.

ohyeahfriday,
You will really notice a difference with that ad in place. I have not driven mine much yet, but I have played around enough to feel the difference it makes. The truck no longer feels like it falls flat when you get the rpm's up. Only downside is the higher egt's since the truck is not running out of fuel!

Yeah, it is sitting in my basement on the bar just waiting for me to get time. My poor truck has really been getting neglected since getting married and buying a house Priorities way out of wack
