I have a 5" straight pipe right now that i got for cheap but it is way to loud and its not a good setup(bad welds and hanger placement) i have a nice 4" stainless systems that I could use but i dont want to lose any performace......so what is the performace difference between 4" and 5" exhaust systems?

You shouldnt notice much of a difference, if youre pretty close to stock...
The only thing youll probably notice is the noise reduction(if the 4" system has a decent muffler)


Why not try a nice muffler on the 5" setup first?

 

The 5" system was a cheap system that I would like to replace.........

 

I have the MBRP 5" turbo back kit with their high flow muffler. I like it alot not to loud at all at highway speeds and quite around town. If you leave the cat in. without loud as heck and very drowny Good luck
