Quick question for everyone. I replaced my air manifold with a CFM+ manifold and decided to sell the stocker. I placed it on Ebay and someone asked if it will fit on a 2nd gen. I figured this would be the place to ask. So what do you guys think?

 

yes it will fit on a 2nd gen, the intake horn did not change from 1993-2007, other than california models with the egr tube.

 

Besides, with a torch and welder, you can make anything fit!!

 

Actually, the 2nd gen intake has less restriction than the 3gen and there is a slight angle difference. I actually have a friend who is gonna cut the end of the 2nd gen that bolts to the motor and weld it to a 3rd gen intake side going to the intercooler.

Gosh darnit, your gonna make me go out and take a picture. I'll do that right now.

 

Pics are waiting approval. Small differences, not major though. I do like the less restrictive setup with the 2nd gen I was holding in my hand.
