3rd Gen vs. 2nd Gen intake manifold

Are the 2002's intake manifold the same size/fit as the 2003's and up?? My cousin wants to buy my Banks Manifold from my 04.5 and put it on his 02, I told him I wasn't sure if the blocks were the same size.

It will bolt up to the head, but he will have to modify the downpipe, oil lines, and turbo outlet to make it all work, so it is possible but cheaper and better to buy the right manifold for his year.

I think he is talking about the intake horn that bolts to the intake manifold and the grid heater. Oil lines and turbo outlet have nothing to do with it on that side. it will fit. have a buddy who did it, just have to trim the CAC tube a bit or the rubber boot will be in a bind.
