3rd Gen 707hp Dodge

At yesterday's dyno days event in Lewisvillie TX, I had the pleasure of seeing a 700+ hp 3rd gen Dodge. The guys from Relentless Diesel in Willis TX brought down 4 trucks. Jason Read's 2003 Dodge put down a whopping 707 HP. I wished I would have gotten some video of his pulls. The sound of that engine was something to be heard !! Anyway, I did manage to snap a couple of pictures.

Dyno Result

Despite this great run, Jason wasn't the top truck !! If you can believe it, he was #3 ! Jim Fullmer's 2nd Gen doge put down 715hp and Jim Jones DMAX put down 730 hp. And this was under less than optimal hp conditions (the heat was miserable at 104 degrees)

I don't believe so. I'm pretty sure he sprayed propane, but I would rather someone else say for sure.

That was a freaking awesome truck to watch dyno. It didn't sound right though. Don't know if it was the wastegates or what but it was impressive none the less. Let's not forget that fulmer's engine had a whopping 6000 miles on it. That dmax was impressive. I'll have pics up later and if I can find somebody to host them, I've got some vids to.

My sources told me that Fulmer only had a 215 pump on the new motor instead of his stoopid pump. Makes his 657hp on #2 only look alot better.

All of the relentless diesel trucks made some nice numbers and it was fun to watch them. Almost wants to make me start puttin mods on my '05.

Yeah. Jim did have the smaller pump on there. He was complaining about having it after the 715 run. If the 215 smoked that much I wonder what the stoopid pump would have done.

I was at Relentless a couple months back getting my guages and there was a brand new 3500 there with twin turbos. Did they have that one at the dyno? I was interested to see what kind of numbers that would make. It had less than 1000 miles on the clock. By the way, I was real impressed with the work they did on my truck.

brassnadz, was it black ? They had a black truck there that looked like it rolled right off the showroom floor. If I remember correctly, it put up 598 hp

Yeah, thats probably the one. it belonged to a dentist and had all the bells and whistles. It had dvd monitors in the back headrests. When my warranty expires Ill be going back to Relentless. I dont think my wallet or my wife will let me do the things that were being done to that truck though. What kind of torque did it put out?

Porbably 1200+. I didn't watch much of the relentless diesels. My ears were ringing to much.
