If you get some pics that would be great TCR!

Thanks to you too, Greg! That is exactly what I ordered today from RatlRatl (except they say 3500).

Learned something new.....You could only get that particular badge on 1998 trucks. I thought they were available on all 2nd gens....but they were different prior to 1998 and they were stick on silver or white decals starting in 1999.

So these are kinda rare if you are looking for them from the public. You almost have to order them through a dealer. Anyway, thanks for everybody's help!

Thanks for everybody's help on this thread! Especially member 'RatlRatl' for his help in obtaining the badging. It has been a few weeks now and I meant to follow up and post some pics of the result. So here they are. I really like this "hint" of red on the otherwise all Black truck and I don't recall ever seeing any 2nd gen badging on a 3rd gen before.

Yep...they do look good. Do they say 12V on them or 24V? I cant tell?

BTW Robert, those are the tires I was referring to. With the amount of mileage Ive gotten out of my older MT's, I would think that these would be even better for mileage and on road driving, and still really good for offroad. Plus I think they look cleaner! Good choice! As you know, Im not a big fan of the BFG AT. The Toyo AT are a good tire, I just dont think they look as good as what you have on now! Looks real good!...I like the blacked out running lights on top too!

I think this is the brand and co. I bought it from off of Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EuroS...spagenameZWDVW

I had to get rid of that metal rod thingy that came on my truck, and this looked like a decent option to finish the black out. I rarely listen to the radio though so I can't really comment to much on reception. It seems fine in a metro area, but out in the boonies...I don't know.

Mine don't say 12 or 24 either one on them. Just "Cummins Turbo Diesel" underneath the "Ram 3500".

Tires are holding up ok. I don't know what I will go with next time. I'd love to get a set of Rickson 19.5 all black wheels and G rated tires....but major $$$. May consider the 285/75/17 Toyo ATs myself.

Ohhh sure. Lots of grills on Ebay. I bought mine a couple of years ago from this co..... http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/p...tobodyparts03/

Mine was just a plain plastic grill that I sanded and painted black (and need to repaint). Nothing special.....kinda cheap really. I just had to get the chrome one off of it to complete the "Black Out".
