Ok guys my buddy has an 06 cummins. It lost #5 injector and #5 cylinder. Dodge put a new short block in it. Truck has TST,Smarty, Silver Bullet, Helix 2 cam, II 3 flow injectors, headtuds and orings. The day after the new motor was put in it lost the rear freeze plug which I gather is pretty common we put a new one in. Next day it blew again, so we put the blockoff plate in. About 4 days pass and the side one behind the turbo blows. We put a new one in locktighted it in. Two days later it blew it again. He is irate and I am now wondering if there is something wrong with the block that was put in, it had all the same mods on the old one and never blew a freeze plug. Please if anyone has any ideas let me know

 

Ditch the thermostat and see if it does it again????

 

I forgot to add that we drilled two 1/8" hole in the TSTAT
