My dad have a 2006 dodge qc lb manual 4x4 with edge juice with attitude. The truck ran perfectly until yesterday. If the juice is plugged he can't stop the engine with the ignition. If he unplug the juice he can like normaly. There's no code. What's the problem?

Doesn't the edge have a turbo timer for 04.5 and up trucks? It may be the turbo timer is turned on.

 

If you have the turbo timer on, and it hits the pre-determined shut off point, (EGT or time) and does not shut off, then there is a resistor that has blown inside the edge module.

I had this same problem, and after 5 new modules, I found out that it was because I have an Air Dog fuel pump... it pulls too much current for the edge to handle.

Call edge, tell them. They should fix it if you are under warranty. If not, it should not be that bad. They are pretty good about fixing crap.

 

That would be my quess too. My 99 has the same feature. See if tapping the gas (at least thats what it is on mine) or maybe the brake shuts it off.

 

If you hit the brake with the TT on, it will shut off. If not, it is probably what I said...

 

Yes I thinked the same thing and i put the turbo timer to off and the truck did the same. And it's on a cold engine

Sucks, but you gotta send it to them.

 

Had the same problem with my 2005 they said they have been having problems with the circute board, give them a call and send it in they will update it.
