2005 Ram Wiring

Does anyone know what the small unused wiring harness below the passenger side dash air vent is for? I noticed it when I was working on my radio. It plugs into a plastic holder on the back of the dash panel. Is there an accessory that fills the quarter round shaped area below the passenger side vent??
