2" lift.. coilsprings.com? shocks?

was wondering if anyone had experience with coils from coilsprings.com?? i would like to stay away from the skyjacker D25's. i'm looking for a better highway ride w/softer springs, but i am thinking of going with Bilstein 5100's for shocks. would this be a good combo together?? or should i go with a different shock? thanks for anybody with experience with either one or suggestions..

I don't know much about coilsprings.com but as far as shocks...Bilstein's are definately the way to go...worth every penny!

one of the local guys here bought some. He liked them. I do beleive they make them for some of the off road suspension packages.

Best combo you can get......I run the CSS coils and I've been really happy with them. They make coils for some of the "performance" suspension builders here on the boards.

I've recommended that same set up to several folks here, and everybody has been really happy with the results.

I used coilsprings.com too, and I'm happy with the product.

I asked them if they could do a progressive rate spring, and they recommended against it (more complicated and expensive). KORE uses a progressive rate spring - they'd be nice if you do much off-roading, but wont make much difference if you're on the road all the time.

I used the stock spring rate for mine. I thought about getting a softer rate, but then I thought that might increase sway when turning at high speeds, and I didn't want to mess with that. To a degree, even with the same spring rate, if you get taller springs, the ride will still be a little softer. For example, there are several spots I drive over that used to bottom out my springs (so that the bump stops were used), giving me a harsh bump. With the taller springs, I can't remember the last time my front end bottomed out.

For people that want a smoother ride, I think they should pay more attention to modifications to the rear end suspension. Over any given bump, i always feel it more when the back end drives over it. Just something to consider.
