Just had my alignment done after installed the 2inch daystar kit. Truck drove ok but the alignment shop told me the toe was way out of wack. Drives even better now!

i was told with the 4x4 you can run stock shocks but with the 2wd i was told you have to change them out. anyone done it to a 2wd and can i do the install myself. can i use 4x4 stock shock or is it better to just go buy new ones. cause if i can use 4x4 shock then i can find them vry cheap. i wish now i would have just pay another 5 grand and got the 4x4. maybe my next one.

I have four new bilstein shocks on my truck but no leveling kit. Does anyone know if I will need to buy new shocks when I put a leveling kit on?

Don't forget that your "lame" headlights should be adjusted after you have the front of the truck lifted.

Do it right once with Thuren's 2" coils and new white bodied or Bilstein shocks all around.

Mine is 2wd, but I had a weak right front spring. I bought 3" longer shocks from SD SuperSpring. After they settled, I am about 2.5" higher. I clear 315's on 2012 Ram alum wheels. I had to replace the upper control arms (wore out) and shocks. My shocks are stock length, they are fine for my normal drive, but if I get a little crazy on a bump, they bottom out. I will go 2" longer next time. Truck was aligned and runs great, all the way over 100mph.
