1250 rwhp on fuel only?

Has this even been close to being done other than (summit's) last numbers? Know a guy who had II put some injectors in his truck and 3 weeks later one hung open and it threw a rod and broke the cam. II never came out and said, "this is what failed." But did say "we can build you a heck of an engine." Well after 11,000 dollars... II has built him a new engine but claim it will make 1250 rwhp on diesel fuel only. that everything on this engine, is "the best of the best," and noone will come close to what this engine is making... just seems like a bold statement and alot of money that should have never been spent to make big numbers.

11,000 to build 1250 on fuel, I think not unless he had most everything already to do the build.

Julius-

Sure is. Robby was told he'll be 1250 at the wheels. II has done everything to it to run this ridiculous amount of horsepower for 11,000 dollars. I hear things like this about companies, and thats what makes me want to spend my money elsewhere.

Sounds interesting! 1250 on diesel only sounds like he got his torque and horsepower numbers switched

1250 on fuel only was done at least three years ago and costs a bit more than $11k.

Trust, but verify.

I will put my stock motor setup against that built one and see how bad he beats me with 11000 more into his. LOL that is if he beats me.

HAHAHA the biggest thing that gets me is "this engine is balanced and blueprinted." "Everything is within 1 gram rotating weight of each other." why is that even necessary on a 600 engine that will run big numbers on the stock bottom end.

How long is long? 140k and cranking away!

I do agree with you triton...maybe I just got lucky with one of those factory blueprinted engines...

If I had the dough and time...I would do it. Otherwise...I will wait till it breaks to fix it.

My thoughts. If it breaks, then I might do it. I'm sure its nice, but I'll wait. At the rate I've been breaking stuff lately, it won't be too long anyways!
