If he can pull off a better 60 ft and get some ladder bars it should be much quicker. It would be awesome to see 10s on fuel only...

James, Hows does it feel to drive the worlds fastest common rail? Fuel only to boot! lol!
There you go viking.....

so your're telling, this guy ran low to mid 11s with a single BIGGER turbo, bigger injectors, built trans, and a stacked chip all on regular fuel and NO nitrous, propane, meth or anything........??

YEP....that's what they are telling us....it's a simple formula that with lots of tuning delivers....to do one run and pull off a 11.41 is awesome. 65psi through an Aurora or K31 can do over 1000hp. Greg Hogue does 1150 with 65psi and a ton of nitrous with an extremely honed head and a high lift cam using a P-pump. The secret is that at 65psi the Aurora is on it Efficiency map limit....the low EGT's prove that. 1550 with no water or nitrous is cool. I'm not sure what intercooler is being used but the set up is working well. 65psi of dense cool air like you get at 7:30pm is what our engines like. I'm surprised the D'max guys haven't been chipping in their congratulations. Looks like with the same turbo, same dual fueling, and Flux injectors....the common rail Cummins and the Dmax are going to have a close year. If we get a 4500rpm limit it will be good bye. If it weren't for the D'max's pushing the limits we'd be way back in common rail fueling.....Thanks for the R&D guys. ks

yup this guy (me)knows my truck in and out and, done all the work myself.(with the help of others) to be honest i might could better it by: playing with my pressure box(it was on the lowest setting), playing with my launch(more boost possibly) with ladder bars, playing with the lock up alittle. the only weight reduction was may spare tire and the jack. maybe start shedding some weight. maybe a cam. maybe some head work. 10s on fuel umm maybe not sure yet

its way more than listed above. time, effort, trying different setups, all the supporting members. the lists goes on. thanks james..

like you said im on the limit or maybe alittle past the efficency level of this turbo. im thinking of doing an external wastegate setup and getting rid of some drive pressure. im running a cooltwist intercooler. thanks for the props james

Greyrig- I believe I saw your truck on the dyno 2 weeks ago in Colorado Springs. I remember thinking that thing was a BEAST but I had no idea it was so fast! Congrats on the good run

I was at the airport in Denver when I heard the news (BIG news). I wish I could have been there but Frontier Airlines had other plans for me (12 hours on standby in the terminal- I felt like Tom Hanks.) Anyhow, I've witnessed the long hours, your hard earned money spent, and the work that went in to this rig. I couldn't be more happy for you, bro. I hope to get my truck close (with your help ) in time for Vegas. Congratulations BRO!!

ps- We appreciate all the support out there. We look forward to having ya'll along for the ride as we introduce the Outlaw/Inlaw's this season!

Be good-
John
