06 Programmers ?

A couple of questions. Still new to diesel performance. Are any power programmers available for my 06 Cummins? Do these things really work? 100+ horsepower simply by plugging something in , well, honestly , just seems to good to be true. Any information would be really appreciated . Thanks and once again, I love this forum. Thanks, J.R.

yes there are programmers out there that give 100+HP. The Bullydog trippledog and power pup are both availabile. Edge juice will be available next month (so they say), TST is out (gets my vote), Edge EZ is out...

They are simple as hook up to the computer and download the software or installing a wiring harness. Either way, very simple. Edge Juice with attitude will be a nice setup when its done, it will ahve on the fly adjustability. The triple dog with outlook monitor is also on teh fly adjustability. Im going with the TST when I scrounge up the pennies. Its not detectable because it plugs into the harness and runs its own computer. With any mod, you risk your warranty. TST is a pretty safe bet. The Smarty will be out sometime in the near future and will ROCK. Its not a high hp box but it offers fuel savings and will stack great with another setup. ITs supposed to be completely undetectable.

I got the Bully Tripple Dog and love it. It takes about five minutes to program the truck and then you can change the performance levels while driving. There is three levels and the top is Crazy Larry. WOW . Use Crazy Larry only when you are pointing stright with plenty of road in front of you. I keep mine on the performance level all the time for normal driving and tow/economy when towing the trailer and Crazy Larry for smogging. I have had two other programmers and this one for me is the best.
