I think it all depends on the driver. if you can drive and they cant that has alot to do with it. I dont even know what those cars run stock in the 1/4 mile. im guessing maybe 15s stock? you may have a good run at the track

They are low 14's stock... in my hands anyway. High 13's with a chip and exhaust.

I wouldn't put any money on it - at least driving your truck. Now driving my truck, well...

I would think that the Nissan would eat you. Your only chance would be to pop it in 4 wheel and run him in the rain. Those things aren't rockets but they are still 300hp and 3500lbs. You would need a good 14 sec truck to beat him. I have no idea what you would need to do to get the truck down to a 14 (but I would like my truck there) but I think you are looking at a couple bucks + a built trans.

I posted the numbers above!! Look, this was my friends Z (a lady) who asked me to drive it because I used to have a 300zx... anyway she does have a borla exhaust, nismo intake and chip and a couple of other goodies... the Z's are no joke!! Plenty fast... you have to have a built truck to run with them... fortunately, I got lower timeslips in my truck than in her Z...she accused me of granny shifting.

Heh -- I have both, and the Z still wins so far. My best run 1/4 was around 14.1 at around 102. I've got flywheel, exhaust and intake on my Z. I just got a smarty for the Truck, but it's still not quite there. As long as the Z can keep traction, yer toast until ya get some good mods in there.

Again, see my quote above... my truck ran 13.7 with "only" 446hp that night... It is just a "tad" higher now in HP... Best time with the modded Z (and my granny shifting) was 13.88.

I would love to take a poke at it!!! At 500hp I ran a 13.98 @ 98mph. That was with 20psi boosted launch in 2nd and uncontrolable Wheel spin in 4wd

With just crazzy larry you do not stand a chance. Those cars run a consistant low 14 all day.

you need a tranny and a few other items but not much.

If your 4x4 that helps if not you need a bit more as the 4 wheel boosted launches gives a big advantage.

The cars might be, but 90% of the drivers out there can't get them to run that fast. I've seen tons of them at the track running high 14's to mid 15's.

I would say he has a good chance of taking the Z with Crazy Larry installed. The only way he's going to win though is by racing from a dead stop and doing a hard 4x4 boosted launch. Make sure the race is over by 90-100mph too.

The driver is the big thing. I could beat my nephew on my bicycle in the quarter mile if he has to contend with a manual transmission, (oh lawsy, lawsy me........Didn't his dad teach him better than that, oh that's right they have automatics). Maybe you should challenge the Z to a tug-o-war after the race.
