I just sent mine off a couple days ago but will be sure to post when it comes in.
JIMCTD, you said little to no smoke. Did it smoke before? Mine would smoke a little with the normal race box, I kinda figured I would get a good black puff with this new version.

wap - I can get a small black puff if I romp on it on 100hp, and a larger one (but not a cloud) on 130hp. Pretty amazing, considering the increase in throttle response. That TPS wire tap really wakes things up!

JIMCTD,
TPS wire tap, what exactly is that?
Also, what kind of differance did the rokktech sensor make in power and milage with the quad box?

wap - the new version eliminates the dataport wiring hookup (the plugged connector just in front of the fuel filter canister) from the quad harness, and utilizes a single wire tap into the red (on 04.5s) wire leading to the Throttle Position Sensor instead. The TPS is accessed by removing three bolts and flipping the throttle assembly over. Not difficult to do, adds 10 minutes to the install, and once the tap is crimped on, the Quad harness plugs in with a female spade connector - you only have to remove and replace the bolts for the install, after that, it's plug and play.
I installed the Rokktech before the box was upgraded - but the two coexisted peacefully then and now. Bottom end picked up noticeably and gained about 1.5 mpg with the Rokktech. Have seen no further gains from the Rokktech with the upgraded box.

For those of you who sent your original box off to be modified/updated, how long did it take once you sent it off before you got it back. I sent mine priority.

6 days. I just got mine back today. A letter was in the box that said " We updated your module to the latest throttle code". I hope this is the update that it said to send it in for.
