Can he, its an 02 Ram V10 with 50" tires. Truck is actually pretty much brand new with ONLY 2k miles. Stock motor and stock trans just obviously the lift which he says is 22" lift but it looks higher, more like 26", what do you guys think? Will he win? I drove the truck and wow, NO POWER. Sadly, it literally does a top speed of 80 and which takes forever to get there. My buddy and car pretty confident that I will win??

its all about traction and weight...in 4 lo he will be able to spin the tires...those irocs are SOFT and his truck will be lifting up on yours big time....not to mention the huge unsprung weight of those tires...
its likely he will break an axle though
see if you can play it smart and let him start to spin by holding your brakes, then take off
did i mention those tires are SOFT
Are you talking about hooking trucks or a truck pull? what kind of surface?

hooking chains
If hooking chains, make sure the hitch heights are equal, if his height is the same as yours and he has the same weight, and his tires grip the same as yours, the better smarter driver will win. In low range, a little 318 v-8 has plenty of power to pull your rig.
Now if you both hooked up to a real sled and did a sled pull, it would be no comparison. The cummins would shine!
FYI soft mud tires hook up real well on the pavement, my cheap buckshot mudders with a soft rubber compound are ten times harder to spin than my old michelin 265's. When I race, I don't even have to launch in 4x4 cause these tires hook up so well.
All that said, no one knows for sure, you'd have to hook up trucks to know for sure.

If he doesnt break, he could win just b/c hes so tall. Similar situation happened with my buddies 7.3 with 33's against an excursion with 49's. It was really even until my buddy pulled him into his own 6" deep rut. 49" tires spinning forward and all of a sudden hitting a deep rut.....broke the excursions axle and u-joint.
