If you've got a trouble free '05 why take a chance? If you do at least sell it outright so you don't get messed over trading. I'd at least wait another year and a half or so until the new body style 2010's come out. All the kinks should be worked out by then and if you don't like the '10 deal on a leftover '09...

 

I always sell outright, a trade confuses the deal. If it feels good do it, if it tastes good eat it. I like my 08

I just traded my 05 with 70,000 miles and I didn't look back. This new 6.7 and auto trans are great, I hauled the GN to the track and this truck pulled better than my 05 with mods.

 

I bet you will find someone on here willing to make that deal!

 

I want a 5.9 back....... it was the biggest mistake I have made in a long time. I love the truck but fuel mileage is 10-13. dealer has no answer for me so back to dealership it goes on thursday.
