Workin' a 6.7 HARD tonight

I work at Nucor Steel in Decatur, Al. I usually run an overhead crane, but tonight am driving a "coil hauler". Single axle, yard dog kinda truck. 6.7 with a 4 speed Allison, geared for a top speed of 29mph.
I don't know the empty weight, but I'm hauling 140-150k lbs of steel coils at a time.
We use them to move coils between our two mills here, 'bout one mile apart.
She ain't fast, but we're getting there. The one slight hill I have to climb pulls the truck down to 6mph.
These trucks haul this kinda weight 24-7.

awesome, got a pic?

I always enjoy seeing yard trucks with 5.9s screaming around the parking lot moving semi trailers.

Sorry, no pic. Not allowed, trade secrets ya know.
I'll try to find one tonight in the picture archives at work. If I find one, I need someone to post it up, as my work computer is limited on what I can do.

And I'm kinda ignert like that.
