COOP full synthetic 0W40 for the winter and changing to Full synthetic 15W40 COOP this week.
I say full synthetic because there are several brands of oil that charge the full synthetic oil price for blended oils.

In my personal vehicle I run Lubrication Engineers Monolec 8800 15/40 group 2 oil. I just completed a 15k service interval and UOA says go to 20k with a filter change in the middle. I also run L/E Monolec 1150 tranny fluid in my tranny and transfer case. Monolec 703, 80/90 gear oil in both diffs.

I run Delo 15/40 at the shop in all our equipment.

In the TDR quarterly periodical an oil analysis was done. In this they list the properties of the different oils and their TBN numbers, that are on the market for sale today. In this list was Mobil Devaco 1300, 15W-40 which was one of the top five oils. I am using this oil since this was what the Dodge dealer was putting in before he was closed.
My truck mileage is 30K and I change the oil every 5K with a new oil filter from Cummins.

Premium blue with 85,000 miles on the clock. I read or was told that the Premium blue was cummins' internal blend sold under the valvoline brand. Something to check into I guess.

Esso (now re-branded Mobil) 0W40 Full Synthetic (as Scotty pointed out) In both diesels for winter. I still swap to 15W40 in the summer. Thats all I have run in my trucks since I have gotten them. The 08 since new, the 97 with 100,000 Km on it.
08 - 19,500 Km (12,185 Mi)
97 - 384,000 Km (240,000 Mi)

I run what 95% of the hardest used equipment in the world runs.

Take a trip offshore in the Gulf, doesnt matter the company, the place, or the time. Those who operate the most severe duty service engines out there are running....

Rotella T.

If its good enough for that, Its good enough for me.

Rotella 15-40 is what I run on everything. Truck 50k, 69vw bug ran it for 303k, 2110cc and 2276cc dunebuggys and sandrails I have made that oil boil n bubble on my 2110cc aircooled buggy. And thank goodness everything has gone well.
