Im guessing you are leased to Ainsworth from the rollers on your trailer, EB. Is that right? Thanks for the update. I realize your C&C is a slightly different setup than those of us with the 2500/3500 6.7L's but it sure is good to hear of some people putting miles on these new platforms and having them perform. I'm right with you on the speed thing, too. Both with my '01 HotShot truck and my new 6.7L i have found that i am getting almost 1mpg better keeping the cruise at 65-67 rather than 70-72.

Nope, not Ainsworth, Pioneer Oilfield Trucking out of Victoria, and I don't have any rollers on my trailer. Just a 40ft straight deck Pro-Trak trailer. Speed and wind make more of a difference on mileage than weight in my opinion. I can run at max gross, about 35k, truck, trailer and load and get better mileage than I can with a big poly tank, about 2500 lbs but a wind catching so and so. If you see a one ton pulling a gooseneck with an empty container on it ask him what his mileage is. I've done that once, won't do it again. Give me a load of pipe, no wind resistance, could be heavy but I'll take that any day over a high load, especially a high, heavy load.

I've changed it once, at about 55k. The book says 60k, I was busy then and didn't want to go over. I have the Aisin transmission.

Nothing but good things with mine so far. 15k on odometer since 11/26/07. This is really a nice truck. No codes or issues so far. "Knock on wood" I haven't pulled anything heavy yet, but can't wait till I do so I can see how awesome this set up really is.
