I have a 08 3500 ctd if I am correct I have drained a lot of fuel out of the bottom of the fuel filter because the light is on in the dash I cant see a speck of water out of the filter is there something I am missing ? the light wont go out truck is running just fine any ideas?

 

The connector may have gotten water in it. Check that seal is still there, blow out connector with shop air and reconnect.
