Want to build one...Web site for options??

I am thinking of ordering a new 07 but the Dodge web site still has the 5.9 listed. Can anyone recommend a site with the options listed?

I’ve been using this site. I know it’s for cab & chassis, but when negotiating with a few of the local dealers I’ve come to the conclusion the pickup box is worth another 3,500 to 4,000 $’s. Now with the cab & chassis they’ll be little changes like larger fuel tank, and the Aisin automatic transmission, other than that should get you close. Oh this site says the 6.7L is only 305hp, one of the dealers told me as of the first of January that is not correct! The line item on their bids that says “ Clean Diesel Technology System” for an additional 995.00 $’s is the consumers cost for the extra 45-hp!

Do you know how to tell a salesman is lying?

One thing to remember is the cab & chassis has no rebate, and the pick-ups have $3000. That needs to be factored in. The cab & chassis will only be available in the 305/610 rating, when the 6.7 pick-ups hit they will be set at 350/650 for automatics, and 350/610 for 6-speed manuals. The clean diesel technology system charge is for the extra emissions equipment that has been added and will be on every 6.7 equipped truck after January, the HP rating doesn't effect that, they will all have it no matter what the hp rating is.

You can try carsdirect or costcoauto, I was able to build a 2500 mega with the 6.7 & 6sp auto. It priced out about 2k more than the 5.9/4sp auto. 1k of that was the mandorty ultra low emissions charge.
