Valve cover gasket

I'm about to do a valve adjust on a 180K mile 6.7 3500. For those who have done this, do I need a new valve cover gasket? It cost like 170 dollars, and I can't afford that right now. Thanks in advance for the info. Nelson

if it's as durable as the 5.9 , no you won't need one
