Hi all does anybody know if the transmission can be reprogramed using the starscan to make it shift at a differant time the reason i ask is i am tired of having it shift into 4 gear at 37mph then if you let it drop to 36 i goes into 3 gear and back and forth the tramsmission is the 68re

It depends on what year truck, fill out signature so we can try and help you. Some 68 re trans have mechanical cable some are electronic. There is also a flash that will change shift points or you can have a gov solenoid problem.

 

sorry about the sig it was filled out at one time not sure what happened to it anyway the truck is a 2008 3500 dually with the 6.7 and the 68re trans
