Trans Temp Variance - Gauges vs. Edge Attitude

My A pilar trans temp reads about 20-30 degrees cooler than what the Edge Juice Attitude reads. The pilar generally reads around 140-145 and the Attitude reads around 170 (non-towing). Could it be because they are reading from 2 different locations, or is one readout known to not be as accurate as the other?

I would think its because they read from 2 different places. Where do you have your temp probe installed in the pan or line out?

Can't tell you for sure since I had the performance shop do it, but today they said it's because the sensors are in two different locations.

I decided to swap out the trans. temp for a fuel pressure gauge anyway, so I'll just read the trans. temp from the Attitude.
