The 6.7 is a great engine but the emissions stuff really messed it up. I had a brand new 08 6.7. It took me two months to realize that it was a POS. I'm sticking with 5.9s for hauling and 5.7s for driving.

I traded it for this and have never looked back.

Is there any physical differences between the '07.5 6.7L and '08 6.7L or is it all software that's updated to make them identical? The opportunity is there for either right now at our local dealership. The '07 for less $ but the '08 isn't two years old sitting on the lot yet.

$2500 for the GPS in dash. Ouch! Mine was "only" $1600...

the differences are a ll electronic....with some minor physical updates to the emissions which if you buy the 07 just make sure they do all necessary TSB's and updates....and you'll be fine

Thanks WL, I may give the '07 leftover a little more consideration if my Reese 5th wheel hitch will straddle the gooseneck hitch the dealership installed. Salesman said all updates are done on their lot's inventory so it should be up to date that way. Brand new exactly what I want two year old truck with a gooseneck hitch installed. Fuel and oil has been in there a while. Hmm... rolls the dice, hopes for the best...
