stock tail pipe

stock tail pipe

I have a 08 3500 4x4 6.7 cummins. the stock tail pipe has rusted off behind the muffler but muffler is fine. where can I find a stock tail pipe ive called walker muffler they show a #55606 but they say its not available no one with a 150 miles of me can bend 4 inch pipe no auto parts stores can help me any ideas ? I have to do something because its melting the parking brake cable.

Minute muffler, napa, dodge dealer, my opinion is that the oem ones seems to last longer, I changed my muffler and tail pipe this year, donaldson 51in muff and stock tail pipe, cheer`s

I had the same problem about 2 to 3 yrs. ago and found a SS pipe on the net for around a hundred or so. Tried looking up where and can't find it but it wasn't much trouble to find as I recall. I had a local repair shop weld it in for me.

Mine done the same thing. I went to a truck parts shop and just bought a 45 degree elbow and said heck with it. Been running that way now for 2 years all is good. Doesn't hurt the emergency brake cables either. Just an option.

thank you fellas im thinking of doing the 90 and forget it. I took a band clamp and wrapped it and stuck a self tapping screw in the pipe and the muffler for a few days till I can do something
