So I was looking under a 2010 today

I was trying to see what the difference was in the cab mount and rear springs. The rear springs looked the same, but obviously I don't know if they changed the spring rate and shock dampning. I was mainly looking at the cab mounts. They looked the same as what I have I mine (2009). They are supposed to be different and dampen some of the chassis vibrations. Does anyone know if they are a different mount and any better. If so, it looks like they would bolt right up to my 09. I would love to get rid of the bumpiness and vibration of my 09 dually.

I recall a Machine Design article last year re the CNF dampers Dodge spec'd for the new Rams.

I doubt you could easily tell the difference externally - the elastomer rings & calibrated air-gaps are inside the steel cap.

I actually drove this truck today and did some more comparing. The cab mounts are the same, according to the parts department. I thought they looked the same and asked the parts guys to look them up and sure enough they are the same mounts. The new truck rode 80% better in my opinion compared to my 09 and my older 07.5. It still had some bumpiness on newer stretches of concrete highway, but was a lot better. The fit and finish of the interior was VERY nice. The cab was quiter, seats more comfortable, auto down and up windows on both front doors, this one had dual climate control, it had a trans temp guage (or readout on the moniter next to the guages), built in brake controller. This was a NICE truck. They said it is the flagship. It was a Laramie. I think it rides better because it has a longer wheel base, 8-10" or so; and the front springs are different, I could tell this just by looking at them. They must be a softer rate. The front GVW was 5500lb though. My 09 is 5200, so I'm not sure how they could be lighter, but the truck rode SO much better. Anyway, just thought I would share the awesome experience driving the 2010.

They increased the front GVWR by going to 1550 ujoints in the front axle.
