Silence of the Dinger
I have a 08 6.7 2500, Big Horn package. Is there any way to remove, kill, stop, or prevent the dinger from sounding off when i leave the keys in the ignition, or lights on. Can it be removed or is it tied in with other functions? I'm 62 yrs. old and hard of hearing but this dinger is as obnoxious as my wife's voice, especially after I spend money. Thanks in advance for any info.

The voice is much worse than the dinger. Removing either will possibly void your waranty or send you to prison.

there was a thread a while back about how to silence it. it was something like you put your seat belt on and turn the key a couple of times or somethin like that. i hate it to. when we picked the dodge up for work, it came on after 5 seconds of driving without our seatbelts on. it really ****** my dad and i off. for 32 grand plus it shouldnt be so annoying.
