Regen cycle
If your truck is stock, it's been in a regen. Usually an active regen is every 400-500 miles though it differs depending on how you drive, your truck setup (transmission, rear gears, cab and bed configuration, tire size, etc), and the loads you pull. You aren't supposed to be able to tell when your truck is going into active regeneration. In the 22000 miles that my DPF was on the truck, i couldn't have told when exactly it went into active regeneration a single time. It did, though. ALOT. So is yours.
