Quad module for the 6.7

Has anyone heard anymore from Quad on the module for the 6.7?? Last post was over a month ago and he was doing a 1400 mile test on a new chip. I really like their products and look forward to something for my 2008.

All I've been hearing from them since early June is "we'll have something available next month". Everyone understands it's better to wait and get it right rather than rush a new product to market before it's ready, but it would be nice to get periodic updates on progress.

I suspect their original time estimates were based on how long it took them in the past to develop new products for the 5.9's. I think the 6.7 is a lot more complex and difficult for them to add devices to without throwing codes or corrupting the emissions systems.

The problem with the 6.7L stuff is the DPF.

Any time we test mileage results vary so great even stock that it is hard to do much. These stupid things regen on and off and off and on and we do not fully understand the logic they use to make the truck regen.

GM is easy and it makes sense. Dodge is way complicated.

So I have MMM stuff running and working but, it is a pretty bold claim when even we cannot check fuel mileage. It is worse towing.

For power, we are taking our time. It takes a lot of testing to make sure we are not destroying a high dollar PF. I would rather wait than have a long list of people wanting to kick my butt. I cannot expect people to remove their DPF to run our products, so we are first developing it with the PF in place. I am sure we will have an off road version as well.

I do 30 to 40k per year, mostly towing, at 11000 miles only regen probs were hunting at slowww crawl speeds, actually no prob, it regened each day and cleared up. I think your problem is that Chrysler itself doesn't know for sure yet how it is supposed to work PROPERLY, you might not be able to do anything until they get their software working correctly

while it does suck indeed that our trucks are so complicated, i am very pleased to hear that Qzilla is really taking his time on this. Man i thought that when i decided to buy a cummins, part of my decision was b/c it is soo dang simple LMAO. I still love my truck though, just wish i could afford to drive it more often.

Qzilla-I suspect Dodge had a logical algorithm for regens like GM, right up to the point that they started plugging up DPF's in the field. All the fixes and flashes that came out right away were probably knee jerk reactions. Now (hopefully) they can figure out why those changes worked and what they need to do to make it more efficient.

Good luck and thanks for keeping us informed of progress, even if it is slow.

I would be really happy if you just got the adaptors in for the 6 speed auto so I can install the temp sensor from my Commander gauges..............

These problems are starting to sound like the International 8600's we had at work. Corn binders computer wasn't talking very well with cummins computer and the result out of 30 new trucks 4 at most were in service at any given time.

Our company order was for 200 of these unit's and after threating to cancel the contract for them International upgraded us to 9200 eagles for the remaining 170 units.

Us dodge guy's are not the only ones having problems with the new technoligy.

so your overhead is accurate? Do you just never reset it or do you reset every tank, what is your method?

Most/all of my miles are done on hwy, except when i hit a city to drop off a car. But even hand calculated its dead on, even the miles per empty is dead on to the tee. AND I MEAN DEAD ON!!!!!! I rarely reset unless im bored and wanna figure something out with gears and rpms. But other then that, most of the time it sits on 8.5 mpg.
