I was wondering which gage setup is out that will allow me to read egt with out drilling and tapping in my manifold . I would like to just plug a plug instead of drilling a whole ?

IMHO If you want accurate Pyro readings then you will need to drill and tap your manifold unless you want to put it after the Turbo.

You can just drill it after the turbo and mentally add 3 hundred to your readings.

the probe has to be in the air stream of the exhaust to get n accurate reading, afraid of drilling, you could always buy an aftermarket manifold that is pre drilled and then be one up n flow over stock to boot.

Cummins doesn't seem to put much store in exhaust temp until V12 or V16 size. Check with them.
