preventative flash?

preventative flash?
has anyone had their dealer flash their truck before encountering problems? doesn't seem like a bad idea. no problems yet other than the fuel gauge moves about twice as fast as my 5.9

I scheduled a "preventive" flash visit, but coincidently my CEL came on as I was taking it to the dealer. Ended up getting the flash and a new turbo! I'm not complaining though, I could have been on the way to the beach or something...

I was scheduled for a preventative flash at 19K miles and like sabersix I was actually on the way to the dealer when I threw the dreaded P245A! had it flashed and no problems since! (Never had a problem previous either)
