Took my truck to the dealer today for a coolant leak, and had him turn on the Cold Idle up, DRLs and ACC power delay.

He told me the Cold idle up was ok but could't do the other functions. Any one know how to turn these features on? Have they been delteted by TSB?

go to personal settings on your overhead. You'll see them in there.

 

i don't think an 06 has personal settings on the overhead for any of that and you have to get a dealer that knows what to look for to turn on the DRL's...daytime running lights. I think its fairly easy as I watched them do this to my 07 6.7. Hooked up the OBDII and scrolled to the Canadian menu...and found DRL...and 'enabled' them. At least that is how the tech described it and it was done as fast as he said it.
ACC power delay might be in the owners manual.

Well my dealer was able to turn on High idle, DRL's and power on with key off so tell them they need to teach their employees how to use the tools in the shop.

 

Didnt realize it was for a 06 as it is the 07 up section. Anywhay some of those features can be done on the overhead in a 07up. Alot more overhead features in the 07s than there were in the earlier trucks. Acc power delay, headlamp delay remote functions door lock at cetain speed plus more done on overhead. High idle, daytime running lights ect... have to be enabled with a scan tool.
