Coming home this evening i got the dreaded CEL. When i did the key on/off trick i got two codes P2262 & P0513. After a few restarts the CEL went out but the codes are still there. I know the P2262 code is for the turbo and thP0513 says something about skim key. What exactly is the P0513 code? the truck had a little over 6300 miles on it when the CEL came on. I have an appointment at the dealer in the morning to have it checked out.

 

I think the 0513 was the code my mom got on her 07 5.9 and they had to replace the key code modual. It ended up not starting for her and would run then die. Once they changed out the modual it has been fine.

I think you can ignore the skim key unless it starts showing up all the time.
