Oil leak, tough to locate exact source.

Noticed a very small oil stain on my floor this evening when I came home from work. Rolled under the truck and found engine oil (black) drip hangin on the bottom of the access cover of the trans and residue around the cover. Pulled the cover and checked for the main seal leaking but inside was dry. Noticed the rear od the oil pan is wet but also up along the bell housing and the engine where they meet there is oil as well.

My old 06 5.9 had the same residue but never left a drip on the floor like this one is doing. Spot was the size of a quarter and truck had been sitting for a week or so. Not sure if the leak is the oil pan gasket itself is leaking or if the adapter plate is leaking where it is sealed to the block? Noticed it when I looked at the truck originally but since my 5.9 did it I didn't make a concern out of it.

Now I just got done doing the deletes and smarty install and don't really feel like installing all the factory stuff just to have the leak checked out but what do you guys think? If I had a dirt floor I could care less but I hate oil stains on the garage floor, especially black diesel oil stains

Other than this little deal I love this truck, favorite truck so far I've owned. Will try to snap some pics tomorrow after I drive it to see if the oil is present after I cleaned everything off.

Thanks in advance.
