? on oil changes

? on oil changes

I was reading somewhere that the truck will tell you when you need to change the oil is that true. I was just curious but know matter what I am still going to change it every 5000 mile

yeah...the overhead console will tell you when to change your oil!! you"ll see "oil change required" once you oil is change dont forget to reset your overhead console...

You might think that is or , but I did see somewhere a TSB that describes adding a new code that will be set if the WIF continues for more than so many miles (500 I think). I went back to find the TSB and couldn't find it anywhere I looked.

yeah...with all the sensor that the new "post emission" engine have today, nothing is to be neglected....or the "pcm" will take care....
