Odd, intermittent problem

My 08 totally stock 6.7 (6 speed auto) has 86,000 miles on it. It runs very well out on the highway but recently it's started falling completely on its face under low speed acceleration...like when I make a turn off of the highway, after slowing from highway speed, and then attempt to slowly accelerate again. The truck just feels dead as if the turbo isn't functioning at all. If I floor it, within a short distance/a second or so in time, the engine "wakes" up and accelerates as well as ever. There are no engine codes showing when I do the key cycle check. The only other issue that I have is that occaissionaly the truck will buck/jerk while driving...happens at most any speed...does it once and that's it.

With no codes showing, I'm at a loss as to where to start looking. I even thought thought I might have an issue with the transmission not downshifting as is needed when I try to accelerate form these low speed turns but that doesn't seem to be the case. I have yet to notice this issue when pulling away from a complete stop...just after a slowdown to maybe 5 - 15 mph.

Any ideas what I should look at? Throttle position sensor?

Take it to an auto parts store that will check for codes with a real code reader. Have them look for pending codes also and post them here.
Do you know if you've got the J35 flash?
