I had the G30 recall done last week. I have the AU flash that came with the truck. I haven't had any issues except a P0402 (excessive EGR flow) that cleared itself, so they didn't reflash it.
Absolutely no difference since the G30 was done....

That is a 12mth/12k mileage warranty. I have 20k I had to buy some EGR cleaning fluid and will have to remove it soak for a while and get all the soot out and reinstall. I have one chance that it may be done under warranty but will have to wait until Monday
I have the P0402 and P0488

12mo/12K? I have never heard of such a thing. You don't have a 3yr/36K bumper to bumper?
Yes , but they said that this is like the brakes and tires and only has 12k. Dodge and there infinate wisdom. It is a maintance item that can be cleaned. I didn't know this as it was not explained to me upon purchase of the truck. Small chance on Monday that they may have a one time cleaning available under warranty as the truck is only 2 1/2 months old but we'll see
If they don't end up taking care of you, I would seriously consider talking to another dealer, man. I went and talked to my diesel man at Love Dodge in Alice yesterday and he said that the EGR was NOT a normal maintanance item and was thus covered by the 3yr/36K bumper to bumper. I have never heard of anything other than fluid changes, tires and brakes being not included. In my mind, bumper-to-bumper means just that. I could be in the minority here, however...lol
I had the same problem with some upgraded replacement speakers. If you notice the insulation around the speaker hole, under the door panel, you will see a very sharp edge. This edge cut into the rubber part of my speakers. Probably from all the bouncing over time. The upgraded speakers fit in the hole just like the factory Infinities. So I guess it was just a matter of time for the factories to wear out. I returned the upgraded speakers and when I put the new pair in I taped up the rough edge around the speaker hole.
