New 6.7L auto readily available
I have an almost new 3500 with 5.9L auto SRW and realized I was out of towing capacity. Looked for a new 6.7L dually, couldn't find one so I looked on eBay and found one fully loaded (MSRP $54K) for $47K. Unfortunately, I missed the deal, and it was sold.
My local dealer would match the deal but only on a new order, probably 8 weeks. I called the eBay dealer and asked if he had any others like it. He said no, but could get me one. So, I pulled the trigger and he found one for delivery within 48 hours
. It was fully loaded, like the first one, and I wouldn't think it is a typical build but there it was.
So, they are available if the dealer knows where to look.
