light and three codes

hello I have a 2008 dodge 3500 with the cummins engine and automatic transmission bone stock nuthin done to it. my son drove it to work Monday morning , about 35 miles. as he pulled in the parking lot the check engine light came on. he drove it home that evening we pulled the codes
with a obd reader we got P042E P242F and po420 then we noticed the dpf 80 % full on idle then it would flash regeration in progress back to 80 %full I drove it down the road it goes to 100 % back to 80 % when stopped a few minutes later it went dpf full see dealer then reduced power if I delete all this crap do I still have to take it to a dealer to get it out of this reduced power mode? any and all help is very welcome and very needed

when you install a programmer and do the deletes, clear the codes, you should be ok. but that's just my opinion

EGR valve is stuck open. You can try cleaning it but if code returns you will need to replace the valve $800. You will need to have a stationery regen performed if at 100% and derate in power.
