took my new 01 with 68,000 miles in to have fuel pressure checked...truck was running great. just wanted to make sure all was well...guess what 0 psi on the lift pump.....oh well there goes $352.00 dollars...vp44 seems to work fine after lift pump was changed no codes so maybe im good for a while,,,keep your fingers crossed

 

i would install a fuel pressure gauge in your truck if the lift pump fails it can cause a Vp-44 pump to wear out extremely fast. better safe than sorry!

 

Um - are you sure this should be in the 2007 and up section?
