Just bought 07' with 5.9

Just wanted to let everyone know and say thanks for the input, but I went to my dealer today for a test drive and ended up driving home with my new 07 QC 4x4 LB auto. I drove 4 trucks manuals and autos and the auto seemed to fit my driving style best. After leaving the dealer I had to drive 90 miles between 60-75mph and the computer mpg kept rising until I shut it down in my driveway 18.4. (the truck only has 270 miles on it) If that is even close to accurate I should have bought a diesel 10 years ago. ( the F-150 I traded in got 15mpg) Before I make this post too long I just want to say this truck is great and am looking to years of service from it.

Based on my overhead, you are getting about 17 mpg. Mine consistently shows to be 1.5 more than I am actually getting when I calculate it by hand.

Congrats on the 07.
Picked up my 2500 5.9L in Jan while 'wintereing' in Phoenix,AZ
Already have 3700 miles on it after pulling my 25' TT back to OH. Time for 1st oil change. Think I'll let dealer do that just in case the filter is 'glued' on by the engine clear coat
Im getting abt 15 pulling TT, and abt 19 solo (hand calc'd)
