Ok I have an early '09 with the 6.7. I've never had the J35 Reprogram done and just today got another "Reminder" of the Recall. I've heard more than a few horror stories of problems with after market tuners after getting the Flash. Am I just being paranoid or should I go ahead and get it done? My Truck is running good getting 17 around town and 21/22 Freeway Empty, 13.5 pulling my 5th Wheel (9,500 loaded).....

if you have the latest software from smarty, you already have J35. Next step is to read the back side of the recall letter from Chrysler (or the bottom perforated section) and complete it and tell them its been done. they can't MAKE you get the recall done

 

Thanks cbrahs, yep I'm current on the Smarty. I'll still probably have to take it to the Dealer in about 3 years as I'll have to do an Emissions Test by then, unless I find some property in one of the no test states....
