Have my truck back!!!!

Well I have had two DPF codes in the first 1000 miles. They have been reset and it looked ok for a while noticed my pipe getting blacker and blacker by 5000 miles. Last week the bumper was starting to turn black. Took it in and the DPF was cracked. They replaced it and gave me the AX flash. Will let you know if my millage increases. It always seems to take a bit after a flash for the MPG to get back to normal. Been getting about 9.6 MPG in town and around 13.5 on the Highway. Will let you know one way or the other.

I just got mine back from the dealer for an inspection and final repair attemp for the Lemon Law. Dodge reflashed it with the newest "FIX ALL FLASH",the best part is the did not put it down on the repair ticket. So now I have to go back to get a copy of the reprogram. My fault not reading the ticket, anyway Dodge told the dealership and me that this is the "FIX ALL FLASH"! THey sware it will not have any more issues! As soon as I get more info on this I will post all info, names and numbers!

Probably put a "Fix all flash" through them and sell them to the next poor sucker to come along.

I looked at one of these (Lemon by back) vehicles once. It was a 03 Lincoln LS. I was looking for one for my wife. The salesman told me that they are supposed to tell you if it is one of those type of vehicles. I asked him what had been wrong with it he did not know but said it is guaranteed to be fixed. Anyway I just got her a new 04 and left it at that.

Lemon law is state sepecific.

For what it's worth, I have never owned a lemon (not one that I bought new anyway). I talked with a ex service writer from our Lithia dealer. He informed me that to keep the lemon law at bay, if you come in with the same problem over and over they will change the description slightly when filling out the service report. According to him it is much harder to file the lemon law when the dealers service paperwork does not say the exact same thing on each complaint.

Thats one reason out of many why I don't like Lithia and to the day I die I'll never buy from any Lithia dealership.

I would like my truck with a 5.9,I really think they are going to tell me to get lost!I have lost alot of sleep over this. I may end up trading it in on a duramax.I'll wait to see what they come back with and let you know.

Not at this dealership. It's like they copied it from the last ticket. The services manager said he cant wait for them to take this thing back. Pretty Sad !

Just out of curiosity, are you referring to a new Dmax with the emission equipment? If so, they seem to be having similar problems...you're probably already aware of this though.
