IT's here and home. Everything I hoped for. Truck is quiet, smooth, powerful, and very spacious. Well worth the wait. Thank you everyone for all the info and posts. I was able to gain alot of knowledge through this site while waiting for its arival. Thanks again.

Love the tranny! Feels very solid. Huge improvement over my 47RE. I'll take some pics and post. It only had a couple hours of that showroom clean before it started raining and now its a mess.

Here are some pictures. Also had it on the freeway today, very quiet and low rpms. The exhaust brake is great. I feel like a kid who just got my license. Think I'll run to the store for my wife (alright, I went to far). It will be in its natural habitat tomorrow when we go turkey hunting!

Every time I think I want one of these, I see the underhood photo and realize that one of the things I always knocked Ford and Chebby for now have become reality in the Cummins world as well. It will take a technician with computers for arms to work on these things.

Can I come take it for a ride?

Yeah, how about that oil dipstick!! When I pulled mine out I had de je vu feelings going back to my old 03 7.3 powerchoke!! Why did they do away with the blade and put that stupid "cable" stick in. I broke the top off my ferd's one time while checking the oil - CHEAP!!
