Got married to a 6.7

The warranty was about to run out on the drive (gave me an excuses) of my 05
Great thing is my Grill Guard and Toolbox, Side steps, Mag Hy diff cover all fit my new truck, they paid to switch over my Fifth Wheel at the local RV dealer and had their mechanics take off the rest.
Traded an 05 SLT Quad 4x4 5.9 lifted 4 with edge juice/attitude
Call me stupid but it happened so fast I left the edge in it and was surprised they didn't say anything,
This is what happened: I went in to get my steering gear box check out for leaking, they gave me some crap about it having 33's on it so on my way out the door I seen my future wife looking at me, when I felt her 6 speed Auto I was in love, and the rest is history.
She ruined the honeymoon by throwing an engine check light today; I’ll know more tomorrow when I get her checked
I noticed under the hood they wrote: replaced Co Sensor and a flash was done
Hopefully this isn't a divorce.

Hopefully not a divorce, but it may well be your first argument.

You can check the CEL by turning off all lights, shutting all doors, parking brake set: then cycle off to run (don't turn on the engine) three times. If you did it right then the code will display on the odometer.

Congrats on the new truck

I had the same code and the dealer put in a new fan clutch. Didn't happen again afterward but some others have just cleared the code and never saw it again either so I don't know if mine really needed the fan clutch. YMMV.

Update

Just got back from the dealer (I think they are on track) said it was a sticky thermostat.
They had to order it and it was on back order meaning it must be happening to a lot of guys and then again it could be my bad luck to have to make another trip; It should be a week they said.

Hopefully they got it pinned down and this bug will be gone.

Let us know what happens and if this fixes your problem long term. I did just read this info below from another forum where the guy had the same CEL code you did and they came up with a totally different dianosis. Take this for what it is worth:

Just got back from the dealer service dept. My 6.7 had a MIL light on and it turned out that the heat of plugging it in made an engine coolant thermostat sensor freak out. He's seen many of these issues and there is no harm to the engine.

He said to keep plugging it in and that a flash will be available in January to keep the MIL light from coming on with this problem.

Also, he said that the engine block heaters have their own thermostat, so they are not on constantly. Less electricity will be used plugging the truck in with a hot engine and leaving it plugged in overnight as opposed to plugging in a dead cold engine for a few hours.

I would give that weight but I didn’t have my truck plugged in yet, I have 6 months left here on the east coast but next winter I guarantee ya back in MN I will be plugging both wives in at night.

that code surfaces on my 6.7 every 500 miles or so. don't think anyone actually knows why or how to fix it.

congrats on the marriage, I hope you signed a prenup, mine has taken everything I have for fuel so I filed for divorce

I used a watt meter on my 2004.5 to check. It pulled a constant 650 watts. I'm skeptical about the 07 having a thermostat in the block heater. Guess I better pull out the ole watt meter again...
