G56 noises?

So i just picked up an '08 3500 with a G56, seems to be a great truck. However, the clutch seems to rather noisy and seems rather chattery when taki.g of and shifting. I know these have a, in my opinion, stupid dual mass flywheel. Is this the way they are or is it suggested to go with a solid aftermarket flywheel before the vibration destroys something major? New to the 3rd gens, thanks for any help you guys can provide...

The stockers are nearly silent and very smooth.

I wonder if you've already got an aftermarket one on there?

I had an 06 with the G56, the clutch was near silent. The tranny however had a whine to it when taking off...

i agree with danderson all of our g56 stock were quiet and none lasted more than 75,000 miles with one lasting 32,000. it sounds as you have the southbend conofe. it is the best. the g56 transmits engine noise worse than the other transmissions that is why they tried the dmf they just used a pp design. the g56 needs one quart over full to cool the front bearing. change to penzoil syncromesh oil next change.
