Hey...what oil is good for the G-56 trans.??..& capacity?......thanks..

Any ATF+4 will work. I just use the Mopar brand bought from Wally world for around $4.00 a quart. The capacity is around 5 quarts. I always buy 9 quarts and do the trans. transfercase, and have some left to swap out in the power streering pump.

ATF+4 is Mopar recommended. The capacity is 6.2 qts. Standard Transmission is recommending Pennsoil Synchromesh currently after finding lubrication starved internals during rebuilds.
